Our Father's House
Revelation 1 & 2
Home
Welcome
I really don't know how to start this except with the truth. I've only been studying about four years now and I still have a lot to learn. I'm only flesh and I make mistakes. Therefore your job is to check out the word for yourself. Let's go to the word for a moment before we get started in the book of Revelation.
    Strong's Definition for Revelation:
    602 apokalupsis (ap-ok-al'-oop-sis);from 601; disclosure:
    KJV-- appearing, coming, lighten, manifestation, be revealed, revelation.
    601 apokalupto (ap-ok-al-oop'-to);from 575 and 2572; to take off the cover, i.e. disclose: KJV-- reveal.

    II Tim.2:14 & 15
    14 Of these things put them in rememberance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
    15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

    The word of truth is the word of God, which I like to think I have been studying on a college level for at least 3 out of the last 4 years. Using a King James Bible and a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance with the best mentor on the planet (of course that is just my opinion and I am partial). Before I got this website, I had not really tried to share what I have recieved from our Father. Only in a one on one situation had I tried to share that which has been given to me through the Holy Spirit. Most rev's and you'll notice that is not capitalized (rev's), would tell you that you do not have to understand the book of Revelation or Revelation is not meant for you to understand. 'Just have faith my child and believe, the church is gonna be gone anyways in the rapture'. But as we go through the book of Revelation, if you have eyes to see and ears to hear, you will see that it is wrote to the churches. For they will know what is going to happen before and after the seventh trumpet blows. I think that's enough of my words for now, so let's get into THE WORD.

CHAPTER 1

    Rev 1:1-20
    1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

    You'll notice in this verse God gives the revelation to the Son, to show the servants. Aren't the servants suppose to be in the churches? And what is this Revelation? Revelation means to reveal or uncover. And that is exactly what it does. In the rest of the verse God sends his angel Jesus Christ to his servant John.

    Strong's definition for angel:32 aggelos (ang'-el-os);from aggello [probably derived from 71; compare 34] (to bring tidings); a messenger; especially an "angel"; by implication, a pastor: KJV-- angel, messenger.

    2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

    This 'Who' being John. He knew the word of God and the testimony of Christ by the Messiah's own mouth.

    3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

    How can anyone say you are not suppose to understand, or that this is not written to the churches? When Christ says blessed is he that readeth, heareth, and doeth.

    4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

    If we had a map of Asia with the seven churches on it you would see that they are pretty much in a circle. Just like the seven churches surround the world today. Which includes all churches. You'll notice John addresses Christ as Him which is, which was, and which is to come. This includes all three earth and heaven ages. The age that was, the age now, and the everlasting age which is to come. I wonder who the seven spirits are before the throne? It makes me wonder if it is not as it is written in I Cor.12:8-10.

    1 Cor 12:8-10
    8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
    9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
    10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

    Are we are talking about the seven angels sent to the churchs and/or the seven spirits that make up the Holy Spirit or both? Now lets look at the facts. We are definitly talking about seven messengers that are to bring a message from Christ to the churches. We also have the presence of the Messiah here and if you have seen the Father, you have seen the Son. Any time you have the two or either one of the two, you have the Holy Spirit. Which is the intellect of God and the Son. In 1 Cor. we have the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit. That's why I say we have both present.

    Rev.1:5
    5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

    The ONE who paid the price for us. If He had not paid the price, all but the chosen, even back to Adam and Eve would have been lost.

    6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

    This is the end of the opening to the churches. The 'us' are the ones that are saved. The only way that you can be saved is to endure until the end.

    Matt 24:13-14
    13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
    14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

    You will notice in Matt. it does not say that those that believe or those that fly away, but those that ENDURE to the end. To the end of what? I know it is to the end of the fake christ reign! That's an awful big statement. Would you like more documentation? I would! So we move ahead a little bit to Rev.20:4.

    Rev 20:4-5
    4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
    5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

    REV.1:7
    7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

    You'll notice here that he does not come secretly and take a certain group of people. But all would see, even those that are dead and gone in the flesh. This don't sound like a rapture to me!

    8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

    The Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet and Omega is the last letter in the Greek alphabet. And then in the numerical system alpha would be one and Omega would be eight or eight hundred. To us spiritually today it means if you don't understand the beginning, you won't understand the end. Let's put it even plainer, if you don't understand Genesis you definitely won't understand Revelations. And here again in this verse we have the Lord being represented in all three ages.

    9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
    10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

    First of all this 'I' is not the church being raptured. It is John in his spiritual body being taken to the Lord's Day. He can even hear the last trumpet or seventh trump, whichever you prefer. You have to understand this totally to understand Revelation. The biggest thing in understanding it is to forget the stinkin thinkin that we have been programmed since we where children. And listen to what the word says.

    11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

    You can see here, Christ told John to write a book to the churches. The book is Revelation. Now doesn't it make good common sense, since we are talking about the Lord's day that this letter would be wrote to the end time churches? TODAYS CHURCHES!

    12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
    13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
    14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
    15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
    16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
    17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me,
    Fear not; I am the first and the last:

    Now we could make a big mystical thing about what is said in these five verses, but there is really nothing big and mystical about it. In fact, it's pretty easy to understand. Especially if you'll read on. Christ explains exactly what he is talking about.

    18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
    19
    Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
    20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

    I dare say that most seven year olds that have not been polluted with mens traditions can understand the definition of that big mystical thing that was just described. So let's learn to listen to the ONE that has the key to hell and death or not. It's your choice.

    As we start chapter 2 Christ is talking to the churches through His messengers. Let's remember that John has been taken to the Lord's day. They are looking at things that are were going on before, during, and after the Lord's day. I do not intend to mention any church by name. But I have every intention of bringing out what they are teaching to the best of my ability.

CHAPTER 2

    Rev 2:1-29
    1
    Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
    2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

    This is a pretty good stock of people. They have figured out by the word that there are plenty of false teachers around.

    3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
    4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
    5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

    They are hard workers. But Jesus found somethings against them. They left Him for their church system. Our Father doesn't like this at all! They better repent.

    6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
    7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

    Who are these Nicolaitans? There is no written history to tell us or it's not written in the word. Since God hates them it probably has to do with bal worshipping. To know this you basically have to know the ten commandments. The first five is all about worshipping other god's. Nothing brings out our Father's jealousy (rightous indignation) like idol worshipping!

    8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
    9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

    There are only two churches that Christ finds no fault with. Smyrna is the first one mentioned. So let's look at what they taught. They realize there is a group of people that claim to be of Judah, but are not, but are of the sons of Cain. By knowing the sin in the garden they understand Christ first parable. They also know the tares are the sons of Cain and that Cain's father is Satan, the wicked one. They are not like some of the other churches teaching that Adam and Eve ate apples.

    10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
    11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

    Man, this doesn't sound anything like flying away! It tells them even how long they will be in prison. By the way this is the first tribulation. The tribulation of the anti-christ. These christians here know how to earn their crown of life. (Note: Notice the difference between the 2 churches Smyrna and Philadelphia. Smyrna has to earn it's crown while Philadelphia already has earned it's crown. It is my opinion that Smyrna represents the 144,000.) You know you must be willing to take up your cross and follow Christ and endure til the end. You have to love Christ more than life itself. This message, delivered up to death, we have to ask ourselves what is death?. Let's go to Hebrews 2: 14:

    Heb 2:14
    14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

    I believe this pretty well documents who death is and who we will be delivered up to. Now back to Revelation.

    Rev.2:12
    12
    And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
    13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

    Let's go to the Strongs for definition of this Antipas:

    493 Antipas (an-tee'-pas);
    contracted for a compound of 473 and a derivative of 3962; Antipas, a Christian: KJV-- Antipas.
    473 anti (an-tee');a primary particle; opposite, i.e. instead or because of (rarely in addition to): KJV-- for, in the room of. Often used in composition to denote contrast, requital, substitution, correspondence, etc.
    3962 pater (pat-ayr');apparently a primary word; a "father" (literally or figuratively, near or more remote): KJV-father, parent.

    This word Antipas comes from a combination of two words as you can see in the definitions above. We are talking about the anti-father and apparently some anti-christians. In this time span of the churches the anti-christ is here. Of course we know where his world
    headquarters will be he arrives defacto.

    Rev.2:14
    14
    But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
    15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.

    To document what this doctrine of Balaam is you have to go to the Old Testement. Balaam was a good prophet for God. The only thing is he liked money and was willing to teach Balac for money, for treasures, for wealth. Now I know it would be hard to find a church today that doesn't teach for money. When most of the time when go to todays churches they teach passing the plate is something religous. Let's remember that christianty is a reality, a way of life, not a religion. The reality is written, the question is have you read? Or are you to busy playing church?

    Rev.2:16
    16
    Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
    17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

    Does it say here that he who overcometh will fly away? Let's look at this word stone:

    5586 psephos (psay'-fos);from the same as 5584; a pebble (as worn smooth by handling), i.e. (by implication of use as a counter or ballot) a verdict (of acquittal) or ticket (of admission); a vote: KJV-- stone, voice.

    In the Greek language the word psay-fos, is used one other time in the book of Revelation in ch. 13: 18 as the word count. Who are these stones that have been worn smooth by time? To understand this you have to understand the first parable.

    Rev.2:18
    18
    And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

    Thayer's Definition of Thyatira:
    2363 Thuateira- Thyatira = "odor of affliction"
    a colony of Macedonia Greeks, situated between Sardis and Pergamos on the river Lycus; its inhabitants gained their living by traffic and the art of dyeing in purple

    If you look at the history of Thyatira they were apollo worshippers, which means they worshipped young good looking males. This word apollo is almost the same word apollyon. To understand this word apollyon lets go to Revelation 9: 11. And then get the Strong's definition for the word.

    Rev 9:11
    11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

    623 Apolluon (ap-ol-loo'-ohn);
    active participle of 622; a destroyer (i.e. Satan): KJV- Apollyon.

    Rev.2:19
    19
    I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

    Again here we have a good stock of people. But God still has somewhat against them.

    20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto
    idols.

    Do you know about this woman Jezebel who calls herself a prophetess? There is a great little book that goes into great detail about this woman. "The Incredible Cover-up by Dave MacPherson". I don't usually recommend any books other than the King James Bible and the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance for studing. But in this case I do highly recommend this one. Because it has a lot of evidense about this prophetess that brings in babbling tongues and anytime doctrine (Rapture). What is this 'eating things sacrificed unto idols? This doctrine or fruit, has taught the people by it's subtlety falsehoods, idol worship to teach them to listen to what they say instead of what the word says. Occult deluxe! Just like the serpent did to Eve. Even Christ said by their fruits ye shall know them. Their fruits are what come from their mouths. Let's call it a one-edged sword.

    Rev.2
    21
    And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
    22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
    23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

    The time to repent is now! Or He will cast you into the bed of the anti-christ! Most people already carry the mark of the beast in their forehead. Lets face it all our lives we driven down the roads and seen signs "Jesus is coming soon! Are you ready?". Instead of the "anti-christ is coming first? Are you ready to stand or to fly?" This is another church that doesn't have enough oil in it's lamp or enough of the WORD in it's doctrine.

    Rev.2
    24
    But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
    25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
    26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
    27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

    Christ gave us an example of this while He was here in the flesh when He went into the temple with the cat-of-nine tails and cleaned house! The question is do you want to help Him brandish the rod or do you want to be on the receving end of that whip? Your choice.

    28 And I will give him the morning star.
    29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

    In the book of Revelation the phrase 'he that hath an ear' is mentioned eight times. Eight in biblical mathmatics means new beginnings. And that is exactly what we are working up to.
